a schoolmate and friend of mine. his site is brand new and he's learning how to code. i look forward to seeing the things he'll make.
a long-time net neighbor! chloe's site is really cute and nostalgic. there's some really cute art and fun music to be found here, so do check her site out.
my favorite sites
a really neat little personal website. it's black and red, dark, a little gothic, and very charming. it's an exercise in self-expression and exploration, according to its webmaster, and the love and care put into it really shows. i've followed this site for a while and i've seen it move through a couple of different themes and versions, all of them different, and all of them cool. exploring this website feels like being invited into someone's room - and there's even a little stack of CDs to look through.
an adorable, sugary sweet site with lots and lots of hand-drawn assets. this site is super super cute and silly, and it's clear a lot of time, effort, and love went into the creation of it. neo is the most cutesit mascot in the world, and everything down to the color scheme matches.
ita.toys is probably one of the most creative sites i have ever seen. it's like a quirky fashion magazine come to life, and it's lots of fun to explore. true to its theming, there's a lot to see - great lookbooks, writings about fashion and fashion history, and magazine scans. every inch of this site has been carefully calculated and curated to make a really unique experience, and even if you're not particularly interested in fashion, this site is well worth perusing for the sheer creativity on display.
cadnomori is genuinely one of my very favorite sites around, and it's one i keep coming back to. this site is relaxing, nostalgic, and has a lot of variety. the general atmosphere of cadnomori is oddly comforting. there's a lot to see - photos, writing, fun quizzes, and so on - and every page is different. the color choices are consistently great, being both easy on the eyes and reminiscent of the geocities and angelfire era. there are also some really great resources, like the desktop customization guide, which i have used and can vouch for!
a truly delightful little site that takes the form of a junk journal. to see what the webmaster is up to, you turn the pages, flipping through the journal like a real book. it's a relatively new site, as of writing, but it's already such a creative and cozy litle delight. the art and collage work on display are also really lovely.
wow! the dog house is just incredible. every inch of this site has had so much care and creativity put into it. there's so much artistic merit and creativity that's gone into this website, and the cute low-poly models give it a warm, nostalgic, animal-crossing-esque feel that i just adore. the site can be a little slow if you're on an old clunky laptop like me, but it's a small price to pay for such a visual treat.
